This quiet ballad uses I Kings 19:11-13 and events from Jesus' ministry to reflect on hearing the still, small voice of the Lord in our world today.

1. Sometimes it's in a burning bush, and sometimes in a cloud.
Sometimes fires and earthquakes shout His words out loud.
Sometimes thunder bellows out an answer from the storm.
When the mighty rush of wind is hushed you'll hear the whisper of the Lord.

Chorus:
In a still, small voice; He's still speaking today.
In a still, small voice; and He's calling your name.
In a still, small voice; do you hear what He says?
In a still, small voice; in a still, small voice.

2. Sometimes His words command the heart and spirit to be still.
Sometimes orders winds and waves to obey His peaceful will.
Sometimes speaking words of life which even raise the dead.
Sometimes speaks a quiet word which echoes in your head.
